Our long awaited collaboration with Liz Enthusiasm from the synth pop sensation, Freezepop!
Rumblings of this collaboration have been happening since somewhere around 2010, when we reached out to the elusive vocalist to perform lyrics on an early demo of "Endure, Defend, Attack!". However the timing wasn't right and our fateful collaboration had to be put on hold... until now!
The lyrics were written from the perspective of a musician who could never fill the void of past members of their band who've since moved onto other projects. It's incredibly hard to find individuals who're ready to devote all their time, effort and passion into a project, and even rarer for such a collaboration to last forever. Looking back to what once was can be a wonderful experience, but sometimes the nostalgia can also lead to depressing thoughts of yearning for the feelings of the past.
