about

This is a new track that was originally intended for the Phase 5 album "Hard Reset", but it didn't fit thematically into that album, so it was retroactively added into The Planet is Dead as a grim interlude between Deluge and the title track as sort of an apology for the long wait for this album.

It's very grungy, and was recorded during a particularly dark time for us as a band. We'd like to imagine that it could be used for shots of the city where we see the real dark sides of society, the back alleys, the slums, the sewers, that sort of thing.

Comments from the producer:
========================
“The band almost blew my friggin’ eardrums out with this song…Jeez…Well at least it’s normal volume now so hopefully your eardrums won’t get murdered. I think it turned out pretty well for a last-minute addition.”
-Ample Renitence
